Sealing Ring

The O-ring rubber seal is an annular elastic sealing device with a circular cross-section. Since its application in steam engines in the mid-19th century, it has become the most commonly used sealing component in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It achieves self-sealing through rubber elastic pre-tightening force, with a static seal compression rate typically ranging from 15** to 30**, and a dynamic seal compression rate from 9** to 25**. The working pressure can reach up to 300MPa. When selecting the type, it is necessary to refer to the GB/T3452.1 or AS568A standards, and consider medium compatibility, temperature range (-55℃ to 250℃), and pressure rating. Materials such as nitrile and fluororubber should be selected accordingly. In high-pressure environments, it is recommended to equip with a retaining ring to prevent extrusion.
